Books Condition Guide

Since most of the books at MyBookwala are pre-loved, we classify them based on their overall condition and level of usage. This helps you know what to expect before placing your order.

Just as New

Books that are unused or very close to new condition, with little to no visible signs of handling.

Almost New

Books that have been very lightly used and have minimal signs of wear.

Excellent

Gently used books that may have minor signs of handling or small imperfections, but these do not interfere with reading or enjoying the book.

Good

Used books that may show more noticeable signs of use, including minor defects or wear. The book remains completely readable and usable.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

  • We do not list books that are severely damaged, unusable, or unreadable.

  • As these are pre-loved books, you may occasionally find signs of previous use such as bent corners, faded or dull covers, general wear and tear, taped pages, small tears, library stickers/seals, or a previous owner's name written inside.

  • Wherever we notice a specific defect or damage, we try to mention it in the product description.

  • On rare occasions, a minor imperfection may escape our notice during checking. If this happens, it is unintentional human error.

  • For sound/electronic books, we check that the sound mechanism is working before listing and dispatching. If a sound book stops working after delivery, replacing the cell/battery often resolves the issue. We cannot guarantee the functioning of electronic components after delivery.

  • Activity, sticker, colouring, puzzle, search-and-find and similar books may have been used by the previous owner. Some activities, stickers or pages may therefore show signs of use. We recommend checking the product description carefully before ordering.
